I’ll Live My Second Life! Chapter 104

It was three months after the events in the Kingdom of Calland.

Fiiru was attending a party.

It was held in a country which was about two countries away from Daeman. Not only the nobles and royalty of that country, but even the princes of other countries were there as guests.

The reason for which was because Fiiru was attending.

Many guests gathered around her. She responded to the guests when they spoke to her, but other than that, she left them to chat among themselves.

Her gaze caught sight of a young man with silver hair standing among the many guests at the party.

(Oh, ……, It’s Prince Tomas ……)

Unlike when she had seen him before in the apron, Prince Tomas, who was apparently attending the party, was dressed in the proper formal attire befitting a prince. It was natural that he would wear such an outfit, but it looked good on him.

For some time Fiiru gazed at Tomas from across the room. At the end of her stare, Prince Tomas happily chatted with the other party guests.

(I knew he must be popular. ……) Fiiru thought as she watched him.

Fiiru was always at the center of the party, in the position of those who are most popularity. People always crowded around her.

But the reality was that the only women and men who approached her were either trying to profit from the prestige of the healing priestess, or from the other powerful people who gathered around her.

There were those who wanted to make the healing priestess their wife, those who wanted to get to know other powerful people, and those who wanted to be at the center of the party—They all had their own agendas, but they hid them behind smiling faces as they conversed.

But Prince Tomas was different.

Location-wise, he stood where the wallflowers of the party would be. There he simply conversed with a small group of guests.

And yet, he had no shortage of people to talk to.

After a while of talking happily with someone and then going their separate ways, someone new would naturally start speaking to Prince Tomas.

Everyone had lively expressions and seemed to enjoy talking with the prince.

Since he was sincerely liked by all those around him, he was able to act as odd as he did. Fiiru looked enviously at Prince Tomas’ surroundings.

Whenever Prince Tomas saw someone who looked lonely at the party, he would actively go over and talk to them.

At first, the guests who Prince Tomas talked to were confused, but as they talked to him, they began to smile happily. Then soon enough some of Prince Tomas’ acquaintances would join in, and before they knew it, they had become part of the party circle.

(How nice. ……) Fiiru couldn’t help but stare at whoever he talked to.

“Princess Fiiru, what a wonderful dress you’re wearing. That pure white fabric is…. Princess Fiiru?”

Finally realizing that she was being spoken to, she hurriedly smiled and replied, recalling the person’s name.

“Thank you. Mrs. Marschafer. Your dress is also very nice, the bright blue color matches your eyes well. It’s quite wonderful.”

“Well, it makes me happy to hear someone as beautiful as you say that.”

She didn’t seem to notice that Fiiru was looking at something. For some reason, Fiiru was relieved by this. Mrs. Marschafer was a relative of the king of the host country. Fiiru couldn’t afford to dismiss her.

Fiiru forced her attention away from Prince Tomas for a while and chatted with her.

When the conversation was over and she turned her gaze back to Prince Tomas, her heart almost stopped.

Prince Tomas was talking cheerfully with a woman.

And it was a woman whom Fiiru knew.

She had long, beautiful black hair, lustrous red lips, and eyes as deep as the night — A young noblewoman named Reneeza, who was known throughout the region.

She was three years older than Fiiru, and was rumored to have been romantically involved with princes and nobles of various countries, and at one time was even said to have been involved with five men at once.

That very same noblewoman Reneeza was now talking happily with Tomas.

(Are the two lovers ……?)

Fiiru couldn’t take his eyes off her, even as she tried not to be found out by those around her.
